Saturday, 8/29 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 and from 5:00 – TBD.

Sunday, 8/30 from 7:00 p.m. – TBD.

We need lots of smiling faces for this show !! Lead parts and chorus. Adult and kiddos, we would love to see you all this weekend. Come and enjoy being part of a great show and a wonderful theatre community.

Orange Community Players, Inc. upcoming production of the Broadway classic hit Bye Bye Birdie will hold Auditions Saturday August 29th from Noon till about 3pm and 5pm till ?, and again on Sunday August 30th from 7pm -?.

This is a family show, in the sense of we need families! There’s a few roles for young kids (by that we mean 8-11), definately roles for teenagers, and adults. And even if there’s not a role, you can join our chorus and trust me, the chorus usually has way more fun! We also will gladly take on anyone interested in building the set, helping or learning the lights, maybe collecting props is your thing, maybe you can just run your mouth really well.. then use it to tell everyone about the show for us, play a musical instrument? TALK TO US. Being involved in the show isn’t just about acting… it’s everything with the show so don’t hesitate to come out and let us know what you can or want to do, we will find a place for you! So share this invite with your friends, neighbors everyone! Live theatre not only requires a live audience to come see it, but live volunteers who want to share their talents with the community.

Show dates are October 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, and November 1.

The auditions proper…. Be prepared for cold readings from the script, some light/moderate dance work, and some singing. You are welcomed to bring your own song (just bring the backing track with you) and we prefer a song from the show, otherwise, we will do some cuttings of various songs from the show for various characters.

Mark your calendars, get ready to travel back to a time when Elvis was the king, and people swooned at the mention of the name Conrad Birdie.

We look forward to seeing you at auditions!
